About Blueeyes Productions / Sögn ehf.

Blueeyes Productions / Sögn ehf. was founded by Baltasar Kormákur and Lilja Pálmadóttir in 1999 and has its headquarters in downtown Reykjavík. The productions have included feature films, quality stage productions and a 6-part TV series, but for the last two years the key focus has been solely on feature films. To this date the company has produced six feature films; additionally two are in post-production, one of which will be premiered in January 2008. Furthermore, four other feature films are in development.

Blueeyes Productions has throughout the years collaborated with some of Iceland’s finest and most creative artists and professionals within the field, as well as internationally acclaimed artists. These successful collaborations have brought home a large number of both national and international awards and nominations, and have furthermore inspired the company to continue its search for innovative ways of storytelling and film-making.
