Wite Night Wedding tops the box office list for 5 weeks in a row
Baltasar’s latest feature film White Night Weeding has been on the top of the Icelandic box office list for 5 weeks in a row with 40.321 tickets sold, a success that the production team is very proud of. To this date the film has gross in a total of 43 million Icelandic krona and received excellent reviews in the Icelandic media.
The film is loosely based on Anton Tsjekhov's stage play Ivanov and was filmed in the small West-Fjord island Flatey with an all-Icelandic cast and crew.
The film was produced with support from the Icelandic Film Centre. The Icelandic distribution is in the hands of Sena Film while the international distribution rights on the title are still to be announced.
